Duties & Responsibilities

1. Act as Quality Manager and ensure that the Laboratory Management System is implemented and maintained;
2. Lead and direct the standards development and compliance team;
3. Prepare project proposals and performance reports in accordance with approved plans and activities of the Institute;
4. Prepare technical reports, papers, and presentations; respond and prepare correspondences and communication documents;
5. Render consultancy services/technical assistance on all aspects of textile quality assurance which are within the Institute's areas of concern;
6. Act as subject matter expert on textile raw materials, products, processes, and textile quality control;
7. Attend and represent the Unit/Section/Division in meetings, seminars, and other ad hoc committees; and conduct meetings on assigned committees;
8. Conduct training/lectures on textile quality assurance and related fields;
9. Participate actively in assigned committees as member or officer; and
10. Perform other related tasks as maybe assigned from time to time.
