Brief Description of Duties and Responsibilities
Facilitate and monitor all activities of the Human Resource Management and Development Section on recruitment, selection, and placement; learning and development; performance management; rewards and recognition; succession plan; competency and training needs; and benefits and compensation;
Rationalize all improvements of procedures and policies, and systems in executing statutory and policy revisions and issuances on human resource management in accordance with Civil Service Commission (CSC) rules and ISO 9001:0215 quality management system;
Prepare e-plantilla and other required monthly and quarterly reports;
Prepare and review correspondences, memoranda, administrative orders and special orders;
Monitor employees' compliance with all CSC and DOST-PTRO office rules and regulations;
Coordinate with other DOST attached agencies, Civil Service Commission (CSC), and Department of Budget and Management (DBM) regarding HR-related matters and concerns; and
Perform other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
