Brief Description of Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Conduct detailed reconciliation and analysis of deficiencies, negative, and unaccounted balances in the books of accounts (Income and receivable accounts), and recommend appropriate adjusting and corrective entries based on verified supporting documents.
  2. Monitor, record, and maintain detailed accounting records of inter-agency fund transfers involving DOST, PS-DBM, DepDeV, and other partner agencies.
  3. Ensure proper recognition, classification, and reconciliation of inter-agency receivables and advances in accordance with the COA GAM and applicable accounting standards.
  4. Follow up unliquidated or overdue cash advances and prepare reports for management and audit purposes.
  5. Record journal entry vouchers (JEVs) of non-cash transactions (liquidations, depreciation and adjustments) in the Electronic National Government Accounting system (e-NGAS).
  6. Control and monitor purchase orders (POs), budget utilization requests, and status (BURS) of six (6) assigned GIA projects.
  7. Check and control GIA project realignment, request for project extension, and request to use Savings and Unexpended Balances.
  8. Prepare Quarterly Financial Report, Schedule of Accounts Payable, and Report of Disbursement and Checks/LDDAP-ADA issued on or before thirty (30) days from the end of the quarter for submission to COA, Project Leader & Monitoring Agency.
  9. Handle and address the administrative and financial concerns of the project assigned.
  10. Provide necessary updates on the expenses incurred and balances as required and requested by the project proponent.
  11. Update the Project Management Information System (PMIS) of the assigned project required by the monitoring agency
  12. Assist in the preparation of List of Due and Demandable Accounts Payable (LDDAP) on all fund sources.
  13. Monitor Contract of Service personnel BIR Registration for fiscal year 2026.
  14. Submission of Income Payor/Withholding Agent’s Sworn Declaration to BIR Taguig (RDO 044).
  15. Maintain systematic filing and safekeeping of accounting documents to support audit and management review.
  16. Compile and attach Journal Entry Voucher to specific disbursement vouchers for transmittal to the COA.
  17. Perform other related tasks as may be assigned.

  7. Photocopy of Training Certificates;
  8. NBI Clearance (if not available, submit the online booking slip if recommended to the position);
  9. Medical Certificate (if applicant is recommended to the position).
